PSU requires all students, 教师, and staff to report COVID-19 positive test results. NH Public Health requires that the total number of COVID-19 cases are reported by the University on a weekly basis. Additionally, the University tracks anyone who is within their 90-day post-positive test window. Those who have tested positive are not required to participate in mandatory testing for a period of 90 days following their positive test date.
We are not planning additional PCR testing this semester, but we can resume PCR testing any time should the need arise. If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, BinaxNOW tests are readily available.
PSU will continue to utilize BinaxNOW Rapid tests and they will be available to all students, 教师, and staff throughout the semester and can be used anytime for any reason. Residential students can pick up BinaxNOW tests in their residence hall.
Nonresidential students and employees can pick up BinaxNOW tests in Speare Room 201A during regular business hours:星期一至星期五8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
PSU Health 服务 will provide offer testing for symptomatic students during its regular spring semester hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- 星期五: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Please remember that while PSU is not mandating masks currently, it is vital that we are respectful to those wearing them. Please comply if you are asked to wear a mask in an office, classroom, or other campus location.
Faculty and staff may order 个人防护用品 (masks, disinfectant wipes, etc.) for their office, department, or classrooms by going to the 个人防护用品 & COVID-19供应申请表. Once your order is complete and ready for pick-up in Speare 201A you will be informed by the Covid-19 coordinator.
PSU strongly encourages but does not require everyone to stay optimally protected against COVID-19 by getting their primary vaccine series and staying up-to-date with a booster dose if they are 合资格领取. If you are interested in receiving your first dose or an eligible booster, this link will provide information on where to obtain the vaccine in your home area or Plymouth: http://www.vaccines.gov/search/. Students and employees are not required to verify or update their vaccination status with the University.
Notifications, Isolation, and Class Attendance Policies
Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19—regardless of vaccination status—can end isolation after day five (由第六天或以后开始) if they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without taking fever-reducing medications and their symptoms are improving. While a negative rapid (antigen) test is no longer required before leaving isolation, we recommend you take an antigen test for your safety and the safety of others.
Residential students who test positive are strongly recommended to return home 或将自己隔离在原地, 只为了食物和医疗, 而且必须一直戴着口罩. PSU will have limited space on campus for roommates of positive cases who want to move from their normal residences during the five-day isolation period.
The CDC no longer recommends quarantine for individuals exposed to COVID-19; therefore, PSU will not be conducting contact tracing as we have in the past.
Students who test positive through campus testing will be contacted via e-mail and/or phone to explain their isolation options. In addition, instructors will be notified via e-mail if a student is not able to attend class. Students will be responsible for reaching out to instructors and working with them on a plan for missed classes and course work. There are no plans or requirements to provide students a virtual or Zoom option for students during the isolation period. Faculty will still be expected to provide remote access for qualified students who have an ADA or Section 504 accommodation through Campus Accessibility 服务.
Employees who contract COVID-19 will be responsible for alerting their supervisors and working on plans for their isolation period.
For personal safety and the safety of others, students and employees should not ignore COVID-19症状. Those with COVID-19 symptoms should not report to campus for work or class.
PSU no longer maintains a weekly, University-specific COVID-19 dashboard. 然而, PSU reports all reported COVID-19 cases to the NH Department of Health and Human 服务, 哪家公司定期在什么时候更新仪表盘 http://www.covid19.nh.gov/dashboard.
